From cold winter mornings in England to warm Italian summers, from the Ararat plain to the canyons of Manhattan, Christopher Abbott's poems take us not only on a physical journey but simultaneously through the internal and varied landscapes of love and friendship. Delicately yet unsparingly observed, the poems in Bright World evoke the yearning for
human and spiritual connection in a fractured existence.
