Manuscript Submission Guidelines:

Manuscripts (complete only) should be directed to “The Editor” at our Brooklyn office (address below) and be sent with a self-addressed stamped envelope, a resumé, complete table of contents, relevant marketing information, and any other material that would be useful.

Lantern Books does not publish fiction, poetry, or children's books.

For more information on submitting nonfiction book proposals to an editor, we recommend Thinking Like Your Editor, by Susan Rabiner and Alfred Fortunato (Norton, 2002). For more information on publishing, we recommend So Many Books, by Gabriel Zaid (Paul Dry Books, 2003) and Seth Godin's Advice for Authors. For information on self-publishing, we recommend BooksJustBooks.com.
