A Remarkable Man
We learned today that Lantern author and philanthropist
Jack Dreyfus had died. He was 95 years old and had been in failing health for some time. Jack was a wonderful friend of Lantern, and an extraordinary individual, whose generosity and brilliance had touched many lives in the course of his long and eventful life. For four decades he had been attempting to bring to the world's attention the benefits of
Dilantin, but it was as his publishers that we knew him best.
Much of his life—told with his typical warmth and wit—is recounted in
The Story of a Remarkable Medicine and
Written in Frustration. He will be deeply missed.
