Stolen: Don't let this opportunity slip away
It's not often you find yourselves living upstairs from an award-winning film producer, but that's happened to me. The film is
Stolen and the producer is Susannah Ludwig. Suzannah and the director, Rebecca Dreyfus, have created a wonderful detective-cum-art-appreciation documentary of the theft of a priceless
Vermeer and
Rembrandt from the
Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum in Boston. It's beautifully made and well worth checking out.
Stolen is shortly to be on general release in selected cities on the east coast. You can catch it at
Cinema Village in New York City from April 21st; at the
Landmark Theater in Kendall Square, Cambridge, Mass., from May 12th; the
Real Art Ways Cinema in Hartford, Conn., from May 19th; and in June,
Landmark's E Street Theater, in Washington DC. You can find out about more dates, by checking out the
International Film Circuit website.
