One of my fantasies as a publisher is that one day I'll come across an innocent citizen quietly reading a Lantern book—on the subway or the train or on a park bench, I'm not picky—rapt attention on his/her face, and perhaps a tear glinting in the eye.

That hasn't happened yet, but until it does I take infinite pleasure at the chance mentions of our books somewhere. Most recently it's the latest issue of Herbivore magazine that's making me break out in goosebumps. Bob Torres of VeganFreak.com tells Josh Hooten that he's just finished reading Burning Rage of a Dying Planet by Craig Rosebraugh. "I was mostly interested in his take on violence, the state, and liberation." That's cool. But what floated my boat was that he made it all the way to the end! Satisfaction.
